How to Install IPTV on Amazon Fire TV Stick in Less Than 10 Minutes

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the most popular IPTV viewing device among Pro IPTV Nordic subscribers — and for good reason. It is inexpensive, widely available, easy to set up and delivers excellent picture quality even at HD and 4K. This guide covers the complete installation process from unboxing to your first channel.

What You Need

• Any Amazon Fire TV Stick (HD, 4K, 4K Max or Lite)
• TV with HDMI port and power socket for the Stick
• Wi-Fi or ethernet adapter connected to broadband (10 Mbps minimum)
• An active Pro IPTV Nordic subscription

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is recommended for the best performance — its faster processor handles 25,000+ channel lists without lag and supports 4K HDR streams natively. The standard HD Stick works fine for HD viewing.

Step 1: Set Up Your Fire TV Stick

1. Plug the Fire TV Stick into your TV's HDMI port and connect power
2. Turn on the TV and select the correct HDMI input
3. Follow the on-screen setup: connect to Wi-Fi, sign in to your Amazon account
4. Allow all automatic updates to complete before proceeding

Step 2: Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Fire TV Stick restricts third-party apps by default. Enable sideloading:

1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options
2. Enable "Apps from Unknown Sources" (toggle to On)
3. Enable "ADB Debugging" if prompted

Step 3: Install Downloader

1. Press Home on your remote
2. Go to the Search icon and type "Downloader"
3. Select the Downloader app from the results (orange icon)
4. Click Download/Get and wait for installation to complete
5. Open Downloader and allow any permissions it requests

Step 4: Install IPTV Smarters Pro or Tivimate

Two excellent IPTV player options are available:

Option A — IPTV Smarters Pro (free):

1. In Downloader, go to the browser and navigate to the Amazon App Store
2. Search "IPTV Smarters Pro" — it is available directly from Amazon
3. Install and launch

Option B — Tivimate (recommended, small one-time fee):

1. Search "Tivimate" in the Amazon App Store directly from your Fire TV home screen
2. Install the free version and purchase the premium licence within the app

Step 5: Enter Your Pro IPTV Nordic Credentials

For IPTV Smarters Pro:

1. Open the app → Login with Xtream Codes API
2. Enter your server URL (provided by support) in the Host field
3. Enter your username and password
4. Tap Add User

For Tivimate:

1. Open Tivimate → Add Playlist → Xtream Codes
2. Enter server URL, username and password
3. Tap Next and give the playlist a name (e.g. "Pro IPTV Nordic")

Step 6: Load the Channel List and Start Watching

The app will download the channel list — this takes 30–90 seconds for a 25,000+ channel library. Once loaded, browse the group list and select Nordic or your preferred country to find your channels. Swedish viewers will find SVT1, TV4 and sports channels in the Sweden group. Norwegian viewers will find NRK1 and TV 2 in the Norway group.

Optimising Fire TV Stick Performance

For the smoothest IPTV experience on Fire TV Stick:

• Use ethernet if possible: the Amazon Ethernet Adapter for Fire TV (available from Amazon) eliminates Wi-Fi variability entirely
• Close unused apps: hold the Home button and select App Switcher to clear background apps before watching
• Disable sleep: go to Settings → Display → Screensaver and set to "Never"
• Set video output to match your TV: Settings → Display → Display Mirroring → Auto
